This is all well and good, but every person reading this thread knows that you haven’t seen Reggie’s career. You are debating solely from Boxrec. Until I corrected you last week, you were telling everyone that Reggie had lost to SEVEN different men. All of which means your opinion is worthless.
Mendoza, You are an absolute embarrassment. You never analyse a fighter’s skill set or style. You never look at how the opponents would hypothetically have matched up together. All you do is debate on statistics like a casual fan. But if that wasn’t bad enough on its own, what you do is even worse. Because what you do is twist and bend any statistics depending on your argument. One minute the number of losses is important, but the next minute it’s not. Again, your criteria blows like the wind. Regarding Jacobs, him losing less fights isn’t relevant here. Because he fought lesser opposition and had less fights. Regarding his biggest wins, they were no better than Steve Collins. Regarding his losses, he actually lost more fights at MW than what Reggie did, and he was the only one who was knocked out in his career. But what I want to know, is why you are rating Jacobs higher than Reggie based upon Reggie having more losses? Please explain how that is relevant, when it isn’t when you’re comparing Bernard Hopkins and Mike McCallum. You rate Hopkins much higher than McCallum, despite the fact that Hopkins lost MORE fights. You don’t think that McCallum would have beaten GG because he lost 5 times, yet you think that Hopkins would have despite the fact that he lost 8 times. You are a JOKE.
They aren’t good reasons. They are garbage reasons. Truax, Mora, Quillin, Derev and an overweight Chavez, were no better than Castro and Collins. Jacobs isn’t on another level to what Reggie was in terms of overall ability. Again, it’s no good highlighting the losses, when: 1. You haven’t applied any context. 2. The losses don’t matter to you when looking at other fighters.
1. You have been back on Boxrec. 2. You’ve never seen any of those guys fight. You are a terrible poster.
You're the guy who admitted no knowing many famous middleweights. Buddy, I have seen fare more boxing than you have. Yes I have seen Johnson fight a few times. Stop acting like you know what I have and have not seen. Its doesn't migrate what you lack. Does this sound familiar? - Mendoza This content is protected Your admission you don't know Jack. Right you personally don't know . Like I said I have seen and read more than you have. And mind your manners, you terribly uninformed poster. - Mendoza
Did you see the fight? Who won it. Its an easy question. Answer the question. Reggie has few quality wins, and several losses. Collins is his best win That's it. The rest are suspect. Yet a contender type in Johnson drew nearly drew with a prime James Toney. What does that tell you. We agree GGG beat Jacobs. Not can you also admit he deserved the nod over Canelo? You're still ducking me.
But I did not score round by round. So I need rewatch then!! My opinion do not matter much. I can rephrase the question: What offical win of GGG is better than Reggie? One last time, who did Jacobs beat ? you are never answering that question. We do know Reggie has a few decent wins. Most thought he won against Castro and did well against JT. Now what about Jacobs? Let's compare
Did you see it? Who did you feel won it. Simple. I'm not asking for your round by round card. I can tell you who win simply by watching, can you? I will compare Jacobs to Johnson after you answer this question. PS: Which Jacobs fight have you seen?
That's an easy quezon to answer. You keep ducking my question. Do you think won between GGG and Canelo in the first fight, Answer this which I asked first and numerous times and give you the facts on why Jacobs > R Johnson. I think you just don't want to admit what you think! How weak. Also how many Jacobs fights have you seen?
Very well. Jacobs is not a skinny small blow up jr middle. He has lost three times, and each one of those loses were to far better men than some of those who beat Johnson. Johnson lost to Adam George, and drew with Eric Williams! Who? Exactly. He lost to John Jackson, a blow up Super middle who later was beaten often too. Need I go on? As I mentioned Jacobs only lost three times to Canelo, GGG and the Priog who retired undefeated. Two hall of fame round fighters, and the other one could have been special. He was close with GGG and Canelo, which tower above the guys Reggie Johnson lost too. Even a fanboy like you would have to admit that. Johnson lost 7 tikes to six different men, He has by my count 1 win over a currently top ten ranked ring magazine opponent, by contrast Jacobs has TWO, except his career is far from over! So bigger man, less loses, more wins over top ten opponents = Jacobs > R Johnson. Now, answer me who do you think won between Golovkin and Canelo in the first fight since you have seen it. I'll be waiting to read you reply.
