GGG vs James Toney at MW

For 2 of his 4 fights in 1994 prior to facing Roy, Toney weighed 176 and 181½ on the scales. After losing a decision to Roy in November that year in a fight where he was a flat as a pancake and totally listless due to him being severely weight drained, he moved up to LHW and he only ever weighed in below the LHW limit of 175 throughout the rest of his career and was only a pound lighter at 174 for that one.

And don't forget that Roy is a proven steroid cheat and he wasn't being tested for steroids at all for the first 10-11 years of his career IIRC. So one has to wonder was he juicing back then for all of those fights he had up until he was actually tested in 2000 for the first time and failed? I think so.

So Roid's win over the weight drained cadaver of Toney has to be pretty devalued IMO.
