GGG vs James Toney

So heavyweights couldnt ko Toney but a middleweight can? Thats some great logic.

 

GGG hits like a current heavyweight (he hits as hard as Povetkin according to sasha's sparring partner), but he's faster and more skilled than perhaps all of them, so yeah

 

GGG hits as hard as a heavyweight? and he would KO Toney? The guy who hasn't been stopped in 90 fights?

You people are literally ****ing ******ed. I wanted to like GGG but you dick riders are making it harder and harder for me to do so.

 

GGG has a good record of dropping guys, who were not dropped before. He has exceptional power and star skills as a boxer. That is very rare combination. I believe that both his power and boxing skills (that he demonstrated in his last fights with Macklin and Stevens) is better than what Toney had.
GGG can win rounds and can end a bout with a single punch. So UD against Toney would`ve been a pretty conservative bet.

 

In his prime, Toney rarely got hit flush with a right hand. He rolled away from the right hand to absorp some or all of the impact. :deal

Stylistically, GGG is tailor made for James Toney. Power is usually the last thing to bother James with

Toney had more problems with elite boxerswho moved and boxed, namely nunn, reggie johnson, roy jones

Anybody in boxing is beatable, right? Toney is not god and lost quite a few times. Against RJJ prime Toney looked plain stupid. Who has more skills is debatable. You may think the other way, but I would`ve bet on GGG if that was possible.
With that being said, I also don`t think that GGG is unbeatable. Prime RJJ was better.

 

He was fighting with cold. It was instantly noticable from the first minute of the first round against Rosado, that Golovkin was not his usual self, not sharp at all.

I am a fan of GGG but this **** has got to stop. I am not sure if people are being serious or just trying to draw hate to the guy. Lets get a few things straight:

1) he aint KOing Toney . . .PERIOD

2) GGG has never faced ANYONE as half as skilled as James.
