Golovkin would win but Roldan is no joke. He was rough, tough and had a big punch. What also impressed me was his decent head movement, bobbing and weaving, a bit reminiscent of Canelo in some ways. That would neutralize a lot of the effectiveness of GGG's murderous overhand right. That said: Roldan's head movement was mostly at close quarters and he kept pretty static at longer range. He also kept his hands low and bored straight in like a bull. I think Golovkin would look at Roldan and decide the "Lemieux" fight plan was more suited to battling Roldan than the "Ouma" fight plan. I reckon he'd create space with footwork and throw about a million jabs until Roldan slowed up enough later to be able to uncork the heavy artillery. Let's also not forget the rehydration rules. Roldan was probably a division lighter than Golovkin on fight night.
