damn, I would love to see this fight in April ! Lara is a much better opponent for 3G than Murray, Geale or Lee !

Please HBO & K2 make this fight happen !

Ok. I have never been big on Lara, but I am now a fan. He isn't scared of anybody. Love that.

This has to be made. Should be GGG and Lara's first PPV.

    HBO vs. Showtime conflict, unfortunately...

I wish Golden Boy would let Lara go to HBO for the fight. I suppose it might be doable if GB took a very minimal "step aside fee" and paid Lara his usual purse amount as well. Lara is bound to tread water at JMW until, what, Alvarez happens? I'm not holding my breath.

If I were HBO, I'd be interested. If I were Golden Boy or Showtime, I'd be willing to let him go over.

I can't believe the kind of politics that get in the way of exciting fights. Boxing is in such a sorry state.

Intriguing as **** at 154. Hopefully, Lara doesn't move up though. He'll get overpowered at 160.

I'd buy this fight. Also, if GBP will let him - the fight can be made most likely. HBO wont buy a fight from GBP, but they will let a GBP fighter fight on a card they bought from K2. As long as K2 is primary promoter there is no *policy* that keeps the fight off HBO.

I highlight policy though, because HBO of course could still always say that they wont put up the purse or air the fight. But the only "policy" set in "stone" is that they wont buy a fight from GBP.

Now that I think about it, I swear I might have heard Ronnie Shields mention something about Lara possibly fighting at 160 soon on the Pugilist KOrner, and saying he could/was naturally big enough. Maybe a 158 c/w.. I dont see Lara chasing the fight but not the title.

Anyhow, I'd buy this fight in a second on PPV.

    I was afraid about this **** ! The GBP/TR & SHO/HBO conflicts are ruining this sport. :-:)-(

we don't know yet if Lee is 100% 3G's next opponent.

i wouldnt mind watching GGG destroy lara with range fighter jabs. the second GGG catches up with lara the fight is over. i guess its better getting KO'd in a round or 2 by GGG than by nelo

158 c/w would be a fair weight for both guys. The problem is about GBP - HBO business relation ! :think
