Better late than never. This could have been a good fight 5 years ago. It's only interesting to see who is more over the hill. Both GGG and Lara don't have their mojo anymore.

GGG's slow footwork and hand speed make him vulnerable to a fighter that can give him angles. Golovkin is the better fighter but his age is the great equalizer . Could be a 50/50 fight depending on Lara's conditioning

How GGG does in this fight depends on if he comes to fight or mess around like he did vs Canelo fo the first 8 rounds. If he comes to fight Golovkin should stop him late, if comes to mess around the results are anybody's guess. The mess around version is isn't GGG.

Apparently GGG needs to stay at middleweight to keep the eye of the tiger, because at supermiddle he lost it.

He's a tiger with one left, he should just retire.

What you call GGG messing around was just GGG being super cautious against Canelo because he knows how dangerous Canelo is and what could happen to him if he didn't fight that way. Vs Lara he doesn't have to worry about that because Lara isn't dangerous like Canelo.

Don't forget Lara really beat Canelo & so did Trout. He never wanted a rematch with either did he? Was obvious why LOL

I thought Lara beat Canelo by a point, and i thought Trout did enough to win as well, but a refresher is in order though. Nothing funny in thinking they won. Thats the way it is with the cash cow.

Its funny when it's the usual clowns who hate on him on this board day in and day out. I had canelo-Lara a draw and Canelo by a point against Trout.

If GGG takes this fight and wins in GGG fashion , lets say a tenth round stoppage then his image will have rebounded and he would be considered back. After that he could fight Charlo. He could win vs Charlo if he fights hard from the start, if he gets lacklustre then he could lose again.

Well, that is very close to what i remember. I said Lara by a point and Trout close. Trout just defeated Cotto convincingly before he fought Canelo. Against Canelo in my eyes Trout got off to a great start and was ahead vs Canelo 3-1 in the first four rounds, but the judges had it in reverse, lopsided for Canelo. Typical Canelo fight crap.

6 rounds a piece across the board in the Canelo-Lara fight. I thought Trout did very well but the KD sealed it for me. 114-113 canelo. They were both close fights but the way C.J. fraud makes it seem is that they were both highway robberies and that why I always chuckle at his hate towards Canelo. Close fights imo are never robberies.
