Everywhere I go I see this fight being promoted, I hear and see casuals that don't really follow boxing talking about it. These guys are going on national talk shows across the US and people are watching. This PPV will break the 1m mark, best believe it.
I'd be shocked if it did a million, but I believe it will do very well. People love KO's, and these guys deliver. After Floyd beat Pac there was a lot of talk on American TV about if Floyd could possibly beat Golovkin. That fight got a lot of attention, so I think it caused a lot of general sports fans to say "Who is this GGG guy? I heard he is a KO machine." I really felt the May-Pac post fight coverage was HUGE for Gennady because they kept bringing up his name on all the sports shows.
The amount of topics I see about GGG-Lemieux, and in general interviews from Team GGG is quite ridiculous.
Anything more than 500k and I will shat myself to be honest. Luckily the event can be a huge success for all parties at 300k. At 400k its a smash hit.
According to Large Dan, 150k buys turns a profit on the event. I feel confident they'll surpass that.
