to be fair cotto has faced pacman mayweather Martinez (ok Martinez was shot at time no 1 knew extent of how shot tho )all pound for pound greats and fighting canelo
Am I the only one who thinks Lemiuex is nowhere near world class? I feel he was fortunate to win the title tbh. He gasses, is 1-D and his only real asset is power IMO. I actually think Eubank Jr would beat him comfortably right now.
You probably are, considering he's fighting for World Titles... He has world class power for a start, and that carried him so far, but he has had setbacks and is limited though has more to his gameplan now than just rushing in throwing leather - he showed technical improvements in overall ring-craft to win that belt against a very decent and tough opponent and yeah he tired after round 8 or 9 but the fight with GGG is not going that far. He's a risky fight for anyone with his power and his recent 'new focus' (money from Golden Boy) and is a true live underdog for someone being talked about as a future ATG. World class? I take that to mean being rated in the top 10 or maybe 15 of a weight class regardless of which of the 4 organisations they fight under. I put him in there in current middleweights. Getting sparked by GGG won't change that either. And fair fu*ks to the lad for doing what a lot of other 'world class' fighters haven't done - took the fight. World class *****, you must at least agree there :good
every fighter faces poor oponents(mayweather =Ortiz guerrero pacman =clottey algieri ) but just pointing out he has faced the 2 best fighters in this generation and fighting canelo who a lot of people think the next big star and will prob earn him double or treble what fightin ggg would at a bigger risk .personaly think gg beats cotto would love to see it but don't think will happen
What?!? I'm sorry I'm not buying into the AMAZING fight status. It's a 20/1 shut out. Adama and Murray were much more credible opponents :hey :hat
