GGG should still be the favorite. Only way Mungia beats him is if father time catches up to GGG. Sadly it is catching up, but I don't think he's over the hill yet.

I think Mungia is a much tougher fight than Murata for Golovkin with an average payday so there's no reason they'll ever meet. It's Canelo or nothing for GGG.

GGG still flattens him. Munguia is to easy to hit.

This would be really fun, as Mungia has zero defense and comes out swinging. It would be a career altering brutal KO loss for him though.

Great matchup, but we'll never see it. GGG wants one final payday vs Canelo, then he will go back to Kazakhstan and live in his
palacial yurt, driven by oxen with gold gilded horns, followed by thousands of his followers.

I would much prefer this for GGG than a third fight with Canelo

GGG hospitalizes him. The beating GGG lays on him will be horrific and hard to watch. He shortens if not flat out ends Munguia's career.

Even though GGG is 40 y/o and shot to bits and a pale shadow of what he once was he's still the #1 MW in the world, the unified champ, and he can still punch holes in castle walls and is so insanely durable that he still hasn't ever come close to hitting the canvas. Those anvil fists of his and that titanium chin of his should be illegal.

Look at the biblical shellacking he administered to teak tough samurai Murata as soon as he weathered the storm and found his rhythm. Murata will never be the same again after that.

Look at the state of Dev after shipping 12 rounds of X-rated brain abuse from those anvil fists.

Look at how he sent Stevie "Jelly" Rolls to the shadow realm. That's the same Stevie Rolls who just got robbed against one of the hardest punching SMWs Edmund Berlangy

Munguia would get sent to the shadow realm too

    Munguia is horrible.

He's nowhere near the same level as a faded 40 year old Golovkin, and would get seriously hurt by him.

I would love to see Eubank step up and fight GGG but he probably still can't find his pen and would rather fight shot welterweights

Style wise as with Murata this also favors GGG but the sand in his hourglass is nearly out.

He could cery well lose at this point.

During 2010-2018 no way he losses.

I would probably favour Andrade over GGG at this point and would give Charlo a fair chance against him, but I’ve seen nothing from Munguia at MW to suggest he’s any better than Murata.

GGG by competitive but clear decision, or a late stoppage as Munguia’s chin is an unanswered question.
