GGG vs Murata prediction thread !!

Golovkin's team has wanted this fight for a very long time because Murata is the perfect foil for him to look phenomenal against.

I'd say Golovkin UD12.

Only wrinkle is that Golovkin is now officially a senior citizen (in the ring)

 

Wonder why the WBA stripped Manny, but not Murata.

 

Another bum to add to his list ggg will look like a prime monster then he will get his a$$ knocked out against Canelo.

 

GGG by late KO

Murata takes punches and he will take too many here

GGG will start slow but heat up late

 

GGG by UD or late TKO. He's getting old but I suspect he'll have enough to beat Murata. Murata is no bum though, it's not going to be an easy win or blowout.

 

That is possible, Murata is a hard hitter and older fighters tend to get hit more, the odds for this fight will be interesting.

But I just see them as different class of fighters.

 

GGG struggles to a decision. Looks so bad Canelo cancels the Bivol fight, announces he'll fight GGG instead on the 7th of May.

I agree they are different levels, but age is one helluva equalizer. Just think, Hector Camacho has wins over Roberto Duran and Ray Leonard.

 

This will be an exhibition match, they will give the win to GGG to make Canelo vs Golovkin 3 fight bigger.

Golovkin needs to hold more than 2 belts before the 3rd Canelo fight to hype up the event.

Murata is there just to give the WBA title to Golovkin.

But I dont see this as quite as an exagerated situation as those.
Also stylistically this match up favors GGG imo.
