Why did Kovalev take the Canelo fight on a months' notice? K did it for money only; GGG would take it for revenge. And money. There is no contract for a late 2022 GGG-Canelo fight, it may not happen. Here's a chance to call Canelo's bluff.
GGG via blowout with minimal damage taken. I think he is going to unleash some pent-up rage on Murata. Poor guy, I have nothing against him, but I feel like he is going to get hurt.
I think Murata is the perfect matchup even for an old GGG. He's right there to get hit. Steven Butler landed nearly 50% of his PP against Murata and while Butler hits hard...GGG hits WAY HARDER and throws from weird angles too and has a better killer instinct as well. Brant also landed nearly 40% of his PP in the rematch early on. I think there is a huge chance that GGG blitzes him in 1-3.
