It's already happened. Hope he gets the job done, I plan on travelling to Vegas to see the trilogy.

Wrong, you’re saying GGG will fight a month after the Murata fight. Kovalev fought Clenelo 2 months after the Yarde fight. Apples to oranges, 2 > 1.

How would they promote a fight in a month anyway? Clown post.

Haters would be seething if GGG starched him that fast.

I think he will start slow and definitely stop him 7-12.

Murata is easy to hit but he's one of these weirdos who seems to genuinely enjoy it. N'dam was landing on him and he was just grinning and walking forward. His offensive is decent although his body punching can look a little slappy and his left hook to the body can look very robotic. But he's strong and people don't like standing in front of him so his hands must be heavy. His defense is basic but his guard it tight and he seems to take a lot of punches to the forehead where he marks up fairly quick

GGG at his best does everything better, better jab, more power, better more fluid puncher but he's clearly on the slide. He looks in fantastic shape but I wonder at 40 how much longer has he got left. Against a guy several years young and with less miles on the clock.

What's left for him to GGG achieve? Unless there is an opportunity to become undisputed at middle I can't see where he goes after Alvarez.

He won't beat Canelo unless the weight jumping takes something away from Alvarez and he won't get a decision on the cards and a KO looks unlikely so after fight 3 does he call it a day?

Big chance this for Murata think it might go the distance.

GGG turns up in what looks like a hotel robe and flip flops, nice. He looks to be in great shape.

GGG +300 by decision may not be an awful bet. Perhaps he wants to get some rounds in? I can see him blowing out Murata if he puts his foot on the gas, but after 2 years the guy may just want to get rounds.

It is a great stylistic match up for GGG. I am very concerned however as to how shot he will be in this fight and saw very worrying signs in Derevyanchenko fight.

True however Murata is not in Derevyanchenko’s class imo.
He cant defend, doesnt clinch and has no experience on the backfoot.
    He is going.

I agree with most of that. My worry is that he has deteriorated much more. He ate some very very hard shots from Canelo that I think have affected him badly in boxing terms at the very least.

GGG had the flu in that fight.. Just look at him in the ring walk. Even with that he managed to win and KD chenko in the first

Yeah I think even now GGGhas to much for Murata but will be refreshing to see 2 guys in a fair, straight fight...
May the best man on the night win...

Agreed. I have no idea how some people are picking him. GGG one of the best punchers of the modern era. Murata is a heavy bag who will be taking clean punches from GGG from the jump. I have seen Japanese fighters show insane chins but this is GGG we are talking about. Murata is just too easy to hit and very pedestrian. Brant was hurting him a couple of times towards the end of their first fight imo. I really don't see how he will stand up to the artillery coming his way from round 1 and I wouldn't even be surprised to see a KO1 either. If Murata made it through 12 rounds then the fight has probably taken 5-10 years from his lifespan from the clean punches he's taken.
