I'm guessing that the timing in the US might have knocked 1 or 200k viewers off. But my guess is that it still wouldn't do less than 800k. I watched the fight three times myself.

Everyone does better numbers than Ward lol. GG is Gerry ****ey all over again.

And no, he's not exciting. Saturday was not exciting. I appreciate his patience, but he's not an exciting fighter.

I'm just not sure what you guys think is exciting lol. If GG does that to Quillin or a live Alvarez/Lopez type opponent, then yes, he's exciting. Right now he's knocking everyone out stopping non punchers, jr MW's, no hopers. He finally got a good win and he showed more flaws than a cubic zirconia diamond sold by Hustleman lol.

Das Ice drippin right there! Scratches head smokes unlit cigarette.

He's easy to hit, he's slow, and his punches are too wide.

    Set ups? Live bodies??

You made dozens of references to Murray being a "live body", and far more than the untested GGG could handle.

MOF, you a thread on the very subject.

As for better things to do. Yeah, Im sure there was an NCAA game going on, or even an NBA game, and there the Saturday evening dinner rushes at the Chili's and Applebees and the Cheddars.
Yeah, Im sure it did less than it's potential among American audiences.

But this was a GLOBAL EVENT.

Not some club show show where a former journeyman leases out the KoC Hall and pays guys $300 bucks for 4 rds.

I would guess the total world viewing of the fight to be around 4-5 million. Better than average considering it was a British fighter vs a Kazakh fighter fighting in Africa.
