Plus look at the level of Pavlik's competition. 1-2 levels over anything Golovkin has thought about fighting. - Edison Miranda - After Miranda broke AA's jaw. - Taylor 1 & 2 - Gary Lockett - Lockett was Golovkin size at 5'10" - Hopkins - Marco Rubio - Espino - Easy work fight - Martinez - Martinez beat Kelly by outboxing him in a way that Golovkin can't. Martinez used movement and ring generalship to come and out and not exchange with Pavlik winning on points. Pavlik scored the only knock down of the fight.
How predictable. The usual haters telling us that Kelly Pavlik was a class above. All because he was a win on the overrated resumes of Bernard Hopkins and Sergio Martinez. But you know that if a prime Kelly Pavlik fought Golovkin, who would destroy him far worse than they did, these same people would be telling us that Kelly Pavlik was a bum. Unbelievable.
ARe you too embarrassed to add who Golovkin has fought who were at the Taylor, Hopkins, Martinez levels? Don't be. It's common knowledge that all of Golovkin's opponents have been at the Miranda and Rubio levels, or do you think Monroe and Geale were equal to Hopkins and Taylor?
Remember seeing KP get sent crashing into the ropes by an innocuous looking overhand shot from a 9-12-3 pest control worker named Mathias Bedburdick. KP was hurt badly from that shot, so badly that his eyes were in separate orbit when he hauled himself back up, on very wobbly newborn giraffe legs I might add, and the ref absolutely should've ruled it a KD. Bedburdick couldn't punch a hole in a giant piece of tissue if he was wearing spiked steel gloves. He has an abysmal 21% KO percentage Here's KP getting dropped by a Columbian street vendor who literally used to live in a bin. 6:02 This content is protected
Frankly I don't care to discuss anything with you at all. I was just pointing out that it is silly for you post that considering Rubio already fought Golovkin.
LOL! You had to dig way back to uncover this, Pavlik's 7th Pro fight, which he won by TKO. In fact, Pavlik went on to win his next 7 fights by TKO/KO before facing Edison Miranda and winning by UD for their 1st fight and TKO for the 2nd. Oh yeah, you forgot to mention that before the Mathias fight, Pavlik had won his first 6 fight by KO.
LOL! You thought Golovkin had fought Rubio before Pavlik. You got it backwards. Pavlik KO'ed a younger, fresher version of the old Rubio Golovkin fought. Pavlik KO'ed Rubio in 2009 while Golovkin fought him five (5) years later in 2014. I know, I know...you are through with me correcting you. Lancina said the exact same thing.
Based on what I said, what gives you the impression that I didn't know Golovkin fought Rubio after Pavlick? Of course he fought him after Pavlick. He was still with Universum at the time Pavlick fought Rubio and there is no way they were going to give GGG anything remotely close to a name.
kelly pavlik Because I can READ, and the way you wrote it made it appear that you were unaware that Pavlik had fought and KO'ed Rubio 5 years before Golovkin. Otherwise, why write it? The point is, To date, all of Golovkin's oppnents have been Rubio level opponents, and none of them have been Taylor, Hopkins or Martinez A-level opponents. As well as his size and power, this gives Pavlik another huge advantage over Golovkin.
