I've never seen an American spell it as 'Diarrhoea' (just as you'll very seldom see an American spell Theater as 'Theatre') etc.

 

when i was a kid it was still tin.

 

So I should have just kept it simple by saying he had the mental poots. Reference for future deployment.

 

i don't think any beer or soda cans have been tin since the mid seventies. at least not in the upper midwest.

 

When I was a kid there were no metal cans, just clay and ceramic pottery jars and bottles. There were no sodas. Just fruit juices, wine and liquor.
