To continually bring up Maragrato's name is pathetic for many reasons. For one, he is never proved to be anything after he was caught with the bricks, and he is not even a HOF'er and yet people act as if he's ATG...absolutely fuhktardedly horrible.

GGG stops him brutally by the 8th. Tony gets hit WAY too much to last against a puncher like that.

Which is why I said if you think he had plaster wraps assume he would for this fight. Also last time I checked ggg isn't in the hof either so who cares. I don't view Margo as some elite ATg fighter but the man had heart and a damn good work rate. To be honest a prime version of marg at 157 would be a step up for ggg.

No, I'm not 100% sold on ggg yet to be honest, and I also evened it out with a catch weight.

Plenty of ppl on here seem to think Margo with his special wraps was a pretty big force in boxing. Is it too far fetched to think he could pull off a win when some on here think cotto can do the same?...

A face first pressure fighter, fight a much bigger puncher who loves guys who come to him.

Now where have i heard this before? Frazier/Foreman maybe?

Come on people look what Mosely did, GGG would really damage Margo

At 154, i think Margarito could win a split or unanimous decision. He was very active in his prime, and he put an insane pressure on his opponents.

At 154, ggg would be fighting on his backfoot, and would be slower and less active than prime Margarito.

Prime Margarito makes 3g looks like he's fighting underwater

GGG by Death. That's only 1/2 way an exaggeration. He may actually beat him to death in the ring if one shot doesn't put his lights out.

Who did Margarito ever pressure and beat that had the size, strength, skill and accuracy of GGG? Nobody. Come forward fighters like Margo, don't do good against bigger, stronger, more skilled fighters. It's common sense, and has been shown over and over again. :deal

Huh? When has ggg been made to fight a non stop pressure fighter who has a height advantage and would more than likely be able to take his best punches, even if it's for a few rounds.

What happens when Margo takes his best shot and keeps coming forward with body shots? Can ggg take that pressure and more importantly can he carry his power as this happens round after round? If ggg starts to tire out Margo has a chance. I'd say this is a 70/30 fight but you never know

Margarito would need a serious bit of extra plaster to survive this

So anyone can do what Whittaker did, what mayweather does etc. there's a reason everyone doesn't do that, it's because they CAN'T.
