I remember Arum talking about wanting this fight. After GGG unifies the MW division what do you guys think about him moving up and taking on Ramirez? Zurdo just school AA in a 12 Rd shut out and is undefeated.

As a GGG fan, this is a guy I would fear cause he's too damn big.

Good fight. Zurdo's always shown promise but has only really made himself relevant at the top level by beating (the albeit faded) AA. It would make sense for GGG to pursue the Canelo situation to it's conclusion first and maybe have another stab at getting Saunders in the ring but I'd like to think a move to 168 will happen before too long and a matchup with Ramirez should give us a good indication of whether GGG will be competitive at the higher weight.

Yea he has to take the Canelo fight if Alvarez is willing then Saunders to unify. Not sure how many defenses he needs to break Hopkins but after that I'd like to see him move up.Maybe Ramirez will be a much bigger fight by then

Ramirez looked HUGE last night. His fight night weight wasn't disclosed. I'm sure he will be at 175 soon enough

I really don't think Ramirez will be able to stay at 168 for long. So I doubt it'll ever happen.
Zurdo is overhyped imo, but even so he could be problematic for GGG. Along with Smith, both LHW archetypes.

Ramirez could be the next big thing in the lightweight division or heavyweight if he bulks up more. The guy is big as a tree, so towering.

Bumlovkin would be pooing his pants at the idea of fighting Zurdo.

golovkin i believe would stop ramirez. i would favor ggg to defeat any168lb fighter no real problem. more competetive bouts would come from ward, kovalev, stevenson and fonfara that would be fun.only one problem, he is only a middleweight.watching ggg breakdown and stop ramirez would be fun as well, but not for ramirez.

Zurdo is likely a nightmare against a lot of dudes in the division. He's effing GIGANTIC. Honestly, I think he's just too big for Golovkin from what I'm seeing. Can you guys believe he started at middleweight? Man, he must've been draining something fierce during his early years.

Ramirez was a Middleweight, if he goes back to Middleweight & takes GGG out more power to him :think

GGG is 160, anybody who wants his belts/legacy needs to go 160 :smoke

I say the last time I looked Lara was at 154 and he's going to be fighting against Vanes in a rematch at 154 that everyone is talking about...

Lara needs to step up to 160 if he really intends on fighting Golovkin.
