i like GGG because of his brutal style and he also very relaxed and charismatic in the ring, and maybe also because of his ethnicity. I find it amazing how different their styles are and yet they were/are very successful both in amateurs and pros.
Rigo he's more of the boxer.Better footwork, faster, explosive and elusive. He doesn't hit as hard tho. GGG bigger puncher but a bit of a plodder. He get's hit a bit! I would go with slick RIGO in this one..
Rigo was more impressing lately since he totally controlled his fight against a legit p4per.... Don't know where the need from some of you guys to rank literally everything comes from. Both guys are awesome and will give the fans many fun fights.
They're both masters of their craft. But don't get fooled GGG is not just a "plodder" he's got just as much knowledge as Rigo. Rigo just beat one of the best, but GGG beating Sergio or Ward I'd rank higher than Rigo. Nonito's opposition tho big names, were pretty old or small.
Let GGG fight a real opponent then we can get a better answer to this question. Until then, the GGG hype machine will continue.
Rigo based on the fact he beat a top p4p fighter in Donaire, If GGG were to beat somebody like Martinez, Ward, Froch etc. then we could talk.
