Yes, unfortunately even as a big Golovkin fan I find it hard to get excited about this. I'm expecting Golovkin to win comfortably and to shake off the rust. If he struggles with a guy like Rolls then it might be the beginning of the end. To tell the truth I know very little about Rolls, but, looking at his record, it's against a bunch of guys that people know even less about. Sure, he's unbeaten, which means he's a cut above your average Joe. But is he world class? I doubt it. That's why nobody is too excited.
Because everyone now knows how great GGG is and if he's not fighting a top p4p level fighter he'd going to run right over the opponent. We're all waiting for the third Canelo fight, where Ggg smashes him leaving it out of the judges corrupt hands. I just want to see the Ggg boxer who he was pre Abel, that's the unbeatable (bare NON) version. The Abel only power version clearly corroded Ggg. Made him not half the fighter he truly is
I thought GGG finally having a full time nutritionist really showed at the weigh in. Looked lean for 163lbs.
A pointless fight with the only purpose to show how good is Golovkin, how he's ready to fight Canelo once more. Rolls is going to get stopped tonight.
I’m kinda excited to see if GGG has learned his lesson and won’t start slow anymore. I’d like to see him come out fast and get a KO in less than 3
I may tune in since I'm subscribed to DAZN anyways, but this is the least interested I've been in a GGG fight since he was fighting in gyms in Germany. The only real storyline is what differences we'll see with Banks as his trainer. My guess is he'll probably try to get some rounds in to test some things out, and that'll be that.
