Aha... few weeks ago Saunders turned down a good offer from GGG to fight him next, stated that a fight with GGG is possible for 2016... Now, by knowing that GGG will fight the Canelo/Kahn winner after his next bout, they state that a GGG fight is possible in the summer.. aha.. in the summer..:huh There will be no time for GGG between the Wade and WBC fight.. by knowing this fact, they say we are ready for GGG in the summer, because that fight would never ever happen! Shame on the next 160 ducker!
To be honest I think they are just trying to stay relevant and keep his name around. I think the plan for Saunders will be to keep defending against b and c level guys for a while yet. I don't mind that. It takes time to become elite and he's still only had 23 fights. Why would they fight Golovkin? Not any time soon at least.
They follow Floyds gameplan when he kept mentioning "Pacman's next" for like 5 years. Its pretty lame.
They have no interest in sticking BJS in with GGG, they will match him with fringe level contenders if they can't get Jacobs
April time ranges from a low of 7C to a high of 15 degrees celsius, too cold to go outside maybe for people who've just come off a plane from Africa. April can normally bring good weather too. (i.e no rain) But yeah, football season will still be on.
I'm to England once a month and belive me, they walk around in shorts and flip flops when it is more then 5 degrees :good
I overheard Brits in Spain who went into the see in December at 14 degrees and raving how nice and warm it was :deal
you definitely cannot hold an outdoor boxing event in the UK in April, unless you want to be cold and wet. As a brit myself, anything above 17C is hot
