You don't labor through beating a guy like Culcay and expect to beat the elites of the MW division.

 

If that’s his amateur record why is he good but not spectacular? A similar amateur record to GGG but Gennady was so much better at his age.

 

Definitely can't help feeling nearly all these boxers amateur records have inflated numbers, including Loma. No denying their accomplishments, though.

 

culcay hurt Sergej and give him a real run for his Money. and even if culcay had gloves made of iron, he still wouldnt hit anywhere near as hard as GGG. so this has GGG by brutal ko written all over it.

 

Sorry, GGG - even this old and shopworn GGG - has too good a boxing system for SD. Sergiy likes guys that will come to him and trade. He does that himself. But Golovkin will do the same with him that he did in the Canelo rematch - he's going to create space to muffle his attack, he's going to dissect him with his great jab and deny him the chance to create those beautiful angles that he does. Then, later in the fight, when SD's battery is running flat and Golovkin has worked him out, GGG will drop the hammer.

 

Depending how much GGG has regressed.

 

for GGG the key here will be the jab. He has a longer reach as Derevyanchenko

Golovkin is up there in age, but he is still fresh. Rarely has any though fights.
GGG obliterates Sergiy.

 

It will be good to see Golovkin in with a solid guy and not another chump.

 

Golovkin wins by close decision. I think GGG of a few years ago would have got the KO but this version will aim to outjab Sergiy.
