    Actually, Froch wasn't retired. In fact, he was begging Ward for a rematch (in the UK) and then repeatedly said that he would only do a huge a fight. Then when he found out Golovkin was more than happy to take the fight, he retired.

    No, he retired because Ward wanted the rematch. GGG heard he retired , then called him out. GGG ducked the active Ward to fight Lemiux. He ducked Lara to fight Willy Munroe.

    I cant see their paths crossing if im honest. For the future maybe Spence vs Brook for number 1 spot in the 154 division.
