How would this fight have been played out at 160 pounds?

Much like Hopkins-Trinidad. Only, Trinidad would get stopped sooner.

GGG stops Trinidad in the middle rounds. Almost a mis-match

Trinidad is a Hall-of-Famer for what he did at 147 and 154. Horrible fight for Tito. Golovkin in about 8 rounds.

Agree with this. Loved him at 147. Was pushing the envelope at 154, but never had the frame for a middleweight.

Felix was chinny even at 147. No way he holds up to Gennady's bombs. 5 round knock out.

Trinidad wasn't much at 160lbs and GGG is still active based on what we know so far Golovkin by ko.

Agreed. I'd give Trinidad an edge in hand speed and Golovkin basically every other edge (chin, power, skill, strategic fighting...)

Trinidad was a good middleweight not a great one. He would probably be a step up from some of the guys GGG has been facing. With that said Golovkin looks to be a the Real Deal at 160lbs. He had the power and the ability to setup that power.

Golovkin by TKO 7 or 8

You could argue that Tito was one of Hopkins best three wins at middleweight.

    ok.

Hopkins level of comp. wasn`t that highly regarded in his 20 title defenses. Some of the guys he faced were dangerous like Echols or Allen but most were also flawed. I don`t think there`s any doubt that Trinidad ranks at or near the top or Hopkins 160lb opponents.

Tito could be outboxed but he had good skills and was a good two handed puncher and could hurt you even at 160. He also had a lot of experience. It was a great win for Hopkins.
