Almost 100% had Golovkin beating Alvarez. Alvarez/ mother had Alvarez' winning, Nacho Beristain had Golovkin winning the fight and he's Mexican. Alvarez' fans booed him and cheered Golovkin for a reason!

They won’t need judges next time. Canelo put some cracks in that chin and will knock Triple G out next time.

Cane you blame him after that disgrace?

Regardless of how anyone scored it, it wasn't 118-110!!

    GGG-Canelo 2 is a tossup!!

That's what you say every time Golovkin fights, just because Golovkin is Eastern European................Alvarez landed his very best punch that knocked Khan out and it did not even cause Golovkin to blink his eyes. Perhaps you are counting on Oscar hiring Tony Weeks, then Bob Bennett and the rest of the commission, plus the judges, probably hire Byrd again, Oscar will throw a banana pealing into the ring to make Golovkin slip and then Weeks will stop the fight claiming it's a knockdown by banana pealing, or how about more testicle blows like SOB did to Kovalev?

You don't have to be a rocket science to know that you don't go around calling black men "boy" just like you don't go around calling them ****** either. But I wouldn't expect anything less from a internet coward who goes around calling boxers that put their lives on the line like Andre Ward cowards and calls for them to be put into comas and be seriously injured. Yet you call other people thugs. You're a POS double standard racist troll with an agenda. You only started following boxing when GGG bust on to the scene. Where were you back in 2006 or 2008 or 2010? I'll tell you like most GGG fans you were either watching WWE or UFC. Now all of a sudden losers like you want to come out of the woodwork like you're some life long boxing fans who know the sport. No ***** you're an agenda having hating bitter fool who was thoroughly owned by Ward and people who predicted him to beat Kovalev. You like to throw around baseless accusations like Canelo and Jacobs were on PEDS without an ounce of proof when the fight doesn't go your way, you're an excuse maker and a troll who will never give credit when it's due.

You've also been banned numerous times for trolling most of which is race based. Hell you have a known racist like Kevin Willis aka Two Eggs or Dos Huevos in the lounge liking your posts. That right there should tell everyone here what you're about.

Keep my name out of your mouth or bring your big bad ass down here to Houston Texas and come and get this work. I'm dead serous I will pay for half your plane ticket for you to come here to Houston and I will beat your ass record it and post the video here, then we'll see who the "Boy" is. I got it like that and I will do it this is free smoke, I'm a real one fake *****.

He's got more chance of becoming Evan Fields than getting a fair shake in Vegas.

GGG earned his accolades and status just like every other boxer. They have to do it inside the ring and perform which he has. The "dent" isn't anything more than an asterisk on his resume like the one Lennox Lewis has for the "draw" he has in his first fight with Evander. No one really validates those recorded draws for either of them. Hypejobs end up like Jeff Lacy.....Not like GGG who has already eclipsed anything "Left Hook" accomplished in his career.

Did the judges stop him from getting the KO every single one of you idiots guaranteed he'll score?, did Mayweather stop him?, maybe De La Hoya?. What happened there?.

I agree he gets some favoritism as a boxer for two reasons....he's white and he's proven. Before he was proven he got hype built from being white in a minority dominated sport but also with devastating KO's to keep the hype train on the rails. In order for GGG to keep the train on the tracks it was all up to him and his coach to not just win fights, but continuing to do it in spectacular fashion. He has to be given credit for not failing to live up to all the hype.

The difference is that most people don't consider Lewis Holyfield a close fight. Almost everybody agrees that Canelo G was close and most agree that it could have gone either way. Plenty of people who stated that they thought G won also stated that they were OK with the draw or "weren't mad" with the draw unlike Lewis Holyfield where hardly anybody saw it as a close fight so it's really a completely different situation. In that sense the draw is validated due to how close everyone agrees the fight was where it wasn't in Lewis Holyfield.

It's no coincidence that G has a "dent" on his resume after stepping in the ring to Canelo. You should be extremely lucky that G was gifted a draw after being tagged like he was by Canelo. Canelo should probably be 50-1-1 with that performance, but two judges gave G a lot of close rounds and he eeked out a draw to keep his title.

Oh boy! A fight, a fight! :aaaaa: Imma betting that at least one of the putative combatants is 120lb soaking wet and that IF there's a fight (only 0,01% probability, sadly) it will be two completely unrelated parties that whoop each other instead :deal:

Boxing is more diverse now, you have elite fighters from all backgrounds. Eastern Euros are NOT a minority in boxing. This is the new era, it is no longer relegated to a few Westerners or Americans.

Very true....but most people don't think GGG vs Alvarez was close either. They felt it was competitive, but a clear cut win for Golovkin. Most don't agree that fight could have gone either way. That's a fallacy. There are tons of examples of boxers, writers, analyst and general fans who have called the draw, a robbery.

There are few who agree with the draw and even less who thought Alvarez actually did enough to win. There's a running list somewhere on this board that shows about 85% of what's been posted online felt GGG won clearly....10% felt the draw was fine and 5% felt Alvarez won. That's the overwhelming consensus amongst the audience who saw the fight and weighed in.

GGG's stock went up after the fight with Alvarez where Nelo's stock took a dive. The Mexican fans even were siding with GGG winning which is a testament to how the recorded draw is not accepted by the vast majority who witnessed the fight live, on PPV or after it was re-aired on HBO.

It's still overwhelmingly a Hispanic and African American dominated sport but you're partially right....eastern euros are thriving and gaining in dominance within certain weight classes. If you look at the p4p rankings, the current title holders and top 10 in each weight class you will still see more Hispanic and African American boxers. The trend is shifting though
