Why are you so obsessed with GGG to the point where you cry when he doesn't step in with whoever you want him to with two weeks notice? He fought Jacob's, he fought Canelo, and was ready to fight Canelo again the very next day. This angle you're trying to give that Golovkin is scared to step up his competition was debunked a long time ago. Try and live in the present.

 

I don't actually buy any PPVs which is why I rarely posts in RBRs.

 

It's not a PPV fight, but O'Sullivan is at an acceptable level for a title fight. The date was an issue for Saunders, of course they would want more time. Zurdo isn't even a MW. Totally decent fight.

 

I don't think he stepped up when he fought Canelo. If he did than his record is extremely poor. It was Canelo who took on the challenge in that fight.
Stepping up his competation would have been taking the Andre Ward fight when it was on the table.

O'Sullivan is acceptable for May. Out of those mentioned I think Deverenchenko and O'Sullivan were the only guys with the balls to take the fight. The rest of them wouldn't take it on short notice and just talk a lot. I don't think GGG team would want him to be in with the technician on short notice.

 

Murray, Lemieux, Brook, and Stevens are on the same level as Canelo. Gotcha. But I'm going to have to disagree.
