Agree with this. Saunders couldn't because of his hand. Andrade is irrelevant, Derevyanchenko is the obvious choice. HOWEVER, Spike is promoted by ol' Uncle Oscar and this smacks entirely of a deal to placate him (what for I dunno since he should be blowing Abel and Gena after his ginger biscuit pissed hot). That, is why o' sullivan is gonna be it.

 

The simple fact is this....

Any fight which GGG could realistically make at this point will involve an opponent which....

a) Is a let down compared to Canelo
b) Is a worse opponent than a 'dirty' Canelo

 

No , Charlo , boubou , Zelda , Saunders and Derevtchenko are all solid fights.

Spike is a return to bum city and i thought those days were long gone.

No final decision will be made on Canelo until April 18th.

Sergiy Deveychenko is the only one in the realm of possibility. At least he's a 5'9" orthodox boxer, similar to Canelo in physical stature. But even Sergiy, like the rest of them, is stylistically far different from Clenelo.
