Been watching GGG & Murata’s most recent fights today and the gulf in class is absolutely huge. Even at the age of 40 Golovkin should beat the hell out of this guy and stop him quick. Murata looked wide open against Brant and Butler. He got the stoppage wins but took a lot of shots back along the way, that will not be able to happen against GGG.

Golovkin actually looked good last time out. It was 18 months ago but unless he’s declined massively in that time he should have no problem with this guy.

    Agreed.
He looked like he was sleep walking in thefirst Brant fight.

18 months is a long time at 40+ very few fighters have come back from a lay of like that at that age and competed at a high level. I've not seen loads of Murata but someone who takes a lot of punches isn't the style to be beating GGG with but with age and inactivity question marks hang over how much GGG will have left..

I think this could be closer than people think.

He's a lot younger in years than GGG and with far less fights. GGG has clearly slowed from what he was.
On paper he should still have enough but huge questions remain. We will know more soon.

I think Murata's style is well suited to a 40 year old GGG, and Gennady should win. But father time can rear his head at the strangest of moments.

Golovkin looks strong like an ox in his recent photos, he is probably on latest formula. He will stop Murata in my opinion. I expect the knock out in round 10.

Yep. Murata is not world level, upgraded from the fake Regular belt, the definition of a paper champ. Plus he’s been inactive even longer than GGG.

Even old ass faded GGG beats the brakes off him.
