Sort of like President Trump with democrats, you got to give a little to get a little.

If GGG was just slightly more aggresive, he would have won. He was more worried about Canelo's crisp counters (which means he knew he could not win a decision) then he was about being a "Predator at Work".

Yes next time GGG needs to start faster. So he takes Canelo to deep water faster.

But then again Canelo did a little but of an Muhammad Ali thing. Good defense paired with a good chin. That combination is hard to knockout or knock down even.

I think Canelo takes away a lot of faith knowing that he can survive GGG onslaught. GGG must feel a bit discouraged that he couldn't properly hurt Canelo.

I don't know about that. GGG had plenty of opportunities, he needs to start of faster and take chances. There were times Canelo looked like a lost puppy to no avail. GGG should have mugged him and smothered him.

Does GGG get to keep all his belts it being a draw?

And can Canelo take up the rematch it being a draw?

Yes, he keeps the belts, rightfully.

Canelo had it. Not GGG. Apparently, both of them want the rematch.

I think Canelo wins the rematch tbh and possibly stops him late. If Golovkin could have done this and that he would have unless he was in on a fix. I'm being honest here, at the end I was more worried about Golovkin walking on to something and getting knocked out than I was excited at the thought of Golovkin getting the stoppage. I don't think he has much in the tank in the championship rounds anymore.

Everything was tilted so far in favor to Canelo it is amazing GGG got a draw. GGG won it going away, not even close. Boxing is getting to the point that I don't want to watch it.

I hear ya. I don't think Canelo can knock GGG out though. But he might have gained a psychological edge.

I think he can, father time will be eating GGG away in the coming months and i believe Canelo will open up more in the rematch and get the stoppage. Both at their peak Golovkin would murder him but he's clearly over the hill IMO.

If Golovkin isn't locked into a rematch clause he should unify with Saunders and retire. As spirited of a performance this was his abilities are clearly deteriorating and no fighter should be forced into a situation where they either have to score the KO or face certainty that they'll be robbed on the scorecards.
