I believe Froch will work to get this made (well, or get Hearn to) .. he wouldn't have put GGGs name on the poll if he wasn't willing to make the fight, and the teams have been in discussion before. I think there's a genuine chance of this happening.

OK. I ain't quite holding my breath yet, but if this s#it gets made it's got FOTY written all over. GGGs irresistible rising tide against Frochs immovable granite cliff of a chin, how can it not be an epic?

    This is irrelevant.

Golovkin came out a couple months ago and said he does not intend to move out of the Middleweight division in response to those continually mentioning a Golovkin vs. Ward fight.

So Golovkin shouldn't be unwilling to move up and face Ward yet willing to move up and face Froch. I'd be happy either way, as I'm one of those few guys who judges fighters by who they fight and not who they don't fight, but I'm pretty sure most of his fans would refer to that as some sort of duck based on the last couple years of their posting behavior.

well Chavez doesn't want it so, it will have to be either GGG or Degale. can't see Dirrell being in the mix considering the poor fight he had with Bika.

if it is to be GGG (i hope it is) then it will have to be early next year unfortunately.

How long until you people understand this?
Andre Ward is what's irrelevant. He is not fighting right now because he can't or because he chooses not to.
Who else is supposed to put their career on hold because Andre Ward is not fighting?

Anyone that thinks Mayweather, or anyone half decent for that matter, would run scared from Khan must be ******ed.

Froch will fight anyone but the problem is getting the fights he wants made.
GGG said he doesn't want to move til he's finished with MW. He is fighting Rubio next and probably for the vacate WBC belt after that. If people say Froch ducked GGG even though GGG is tied up for a year they should just stop showing up to this site.
    Chavez is having contract issues.
Degale is there to be made and maybe Anthony Dirrel.
Anthony Dirrel was asked after the Bika fight if there was anything better he could do and he said no this is the greatest accomplishment. He said nothing about unifying which to me is like he is just happy holding his version of the belt. I want him vs Froch it would be a good fight and Anthony is very underrated. It is hard to look good vs Bika and he has more balls than Andre. When he gets hit he fights back he doesn't run. Makes for a Great War with Froch,

I believe that his team said that Golovkin's focus is on 160, but they are willing to go to 154 or 168 for a PPV fight, probably having guys like Mayweather, Chavez Jr and Froch in mind. Froch - Golovkin is a big box office fight in Europe, and would obviously have a HBO coverage in the US as well.

Amir won the poll but instead Floyd decided to fight a guy who lost the poll who Khan had already beaten. Dont be so naive. Khan is a MUCH harder fight for Floyd than Maidana

as if froch is scared of golovkin he would be huge compared to golovkin, for the first time we would see what golovkin is like on the back foot imo froch would beat him, has golovkin ever been 12 rounds?

Hed go to 68 for whoever can offer him a big money/exposure fight. Chavez and Froch can do this. Ward, not so much, even if he unretires
