GGG has earned his hype unlike most of the recent hypejobs

    What about it?

GGG beats an ok guy in Macklin, now he's beating Hopkins, Hagler, and Monzon.

**** outta here with this bull****. Let Golovkin start a legacy by cleaning up MW and then we talk about him vs. the greats.

I can't pick anyone to beat Monzon H2H at MW other than Hagler.

And there are plenty of other guys I'd pick before Golovkin.

The best opponents we've seen Golovkin display his skills against are Macklin, Proksa, and Rosado. One top 10 opponent, maybe two if you're generous and trying to build up GGG's resume. Sorry, that doesn't come close to being enough to believe in him against the ATG's.

So now if you pick up a belt on a vacant, make a few nothing defences before beating 1 top 10 middleweight, you are clearly easily capable of knocking out one of the greatest middleweights that ever lived.

Tony Sibson would most likely lay wast to a majority of today's middle weights today. That's just to show the actual talent level of todays middles weights.

So Monzon beat Valdes, Benvenutti, Griffith , Briscoe, Bouttier amongst many others and GGG beats Macklin so he's now beating Monzon.
So that's Monzon, Hagler, Hopkins, Ward, Froch and any amount of others who according to the enlightened ones on here would be vanquished by the new fighter of the century.
I hope he turns out just half as good as they have him!
