Ward needs a weight drained half dead man in front of him to get the stoppage. They put brand down as 5'10 1/2, yeah right the guy is 5'7 max and old as hell yet ward could not put a dent in him. This guy can't bust a g****, kovalev would not respect his punches at all. I think even old bhop hit harder.
Yeah, it was a terrible showing for Ward; it really was. I actually picked him to KO the guy but he didn't even come close to doing it. He hit him with some good shots but it was one at a time. Does Ward think he's going to offset a juggernaut like Kovalev with ONE shot at a time? It's never going to happen. Ward is fubared in the Kovalev fight. I don't think there's anything that he can do that's really going to bother Sergey.

There's the saying, you have to take the belt from the champ. But it has no real truth. You can win by a single point on all cards and that's a win.
