I don't know about that, I feel Golovkin's size and power would eventually get to Brook. Golovkin was getting hit a lot but he was having his own successes as well and when you have 2 guys able to land a lot of leather on the other, usually the bigger harder puncher with the iron chin wins.

But I would definitely be up for a rematch between Brook and GGG. Brook showed he belonged in there, for me he's the best fighter Golovkin has fought to date despite the weight discrepancy. Brook without the injury would have continued to be competitive, he would of really tested Golovkin, but I still feel later in the fight all those hard body shots would of taken their toll along with the size and power of Golovkin.

Absolutely. Brook may not have made it out of the 5th had they not stopped it. Golovkin was beating the crap out of him. The trainer does that **** for a living. There's a reason he threw in the towel.

So if GGG didn't break Brook's eye by way of punching, Brook would have won. WTF? That's like saying if Canelo didn't KO Khan in the 5th, Khan would have won. You can't just negate what one fighter does to another to make a new outcome.

Probably, Golovkin was too big for Brook. The 2 weight division was killing for Brook.
Brook connected with some good shots (maybe the better shots), but Golovkin did the damage.

I think it would be quite the opposite. GGG would know what to expect from Brook. Brook saying he expected GGG to be a bigger puncher is BS. The guy broke your ****ing orbital bone in the first round, he even got you wobbled in that first round and could've put you on ***** street had he pursued it. He was either delusional or punch drunk.

Even if the eye injury had not occur . Brook was still on his way out

He was a finished fighter who was visibly overwhelmed and looked ready to go .

The fact he barely threw any punches back in the 5th rnd and chose to just cover up and taunt speaks volumes to me.

He had nothing left and had he survived the 5th rnd. It would have been a 10- 8 rnd for Golovkin.

The Sheffield fighter would have been brutally finished .
