Yep that's true, I guess I'm just surprised that Canelo could hang with him punch for punch, especially after reading about their sparring rounds together. Golovkin is 36 at the end of the day and no matter what he does he can't hide from it. He won both fights yet they were stolen from him. To hell with a rubber match unless he wants to sell himself out, one things for sure though he ain't winning it.

It surprised me a little. Canelo definitely earned my respect in that regard, dude's got pure titanium in his beard. But yeah, I don't wanna see the third fight either, there's really no point. GGG has to either put a complete clinic or KO him. And Canelo's too good and too tough for those two options. Or Perhaps it's the other way round and it's GGG who's lacking.

Either way, any fight between these two guys will always be close which rules out any possibility of GGG winning, not to mention Canelo will be doing better as GGG is not getting any younger so he might actually win for real the third time.

It's the perfect storm that has taken years to conjure up. 5 years ago I believe Golovkin would have stopped him IMO.

He was never blazing but he's lost most of his speed and appears to have lost the snap in his shots. Is that due to age or something else?

I also saw vulnerability in these last two fights, I think Canelo was really hurting him to the body. Where were his own legendary body shots? Now I'm probably being very unfair to him, he's 36 don't forget and still edged a world class fighter. My expectations are way too much but Golovkin is not the fighter he once was IMO. He needs to retire now and be done with this **** game.

    After 7 rounds

He could have implied he was down 4-3

    Stop spinning his comment

Ok fair enough. Vargasfan can I ask you if you're Mexican? Cause you seem to hate on every Mexican fighter lol. At first I thought maybe you just liked "Mexican style" which was why you are a big GGG fan. But that can't be the case because Canelo was the Mexican style then.

    I don’t hate “Mexicans”. That’s so stupid.

I’m actually on the Munguia Hype Train so your myth is debunked.

I didn't say you HATE mexicans. Don't twist my words. Hating Mexican fighters doesn't mean you literally hate Mexican people.

Lol Munguia isn't even good. Canelo is 10000x better than him. Munguia is just a weight bully. Watch him fight a top 154 guy and you'll see what happens.

Made up term. People been doing what Munguia has done for decades.

It’s the dumbest term I’ve heard.
