GGG's 'Mexican Style'

There's a reason Floyd fought mostly Mexican/Hispanic fighters, they have a huge boxing following.

 

The "Mexican Style" idea is pretty damn smart. There's not only trying to appeal to the Mexican audience, but at the same time they stroke the Mexican audiences ego.
That can be because as we know Mexican style is exciting, come forward style boxing and much macho. If need be taking a punch to land a harder one of your own.

Now it's something else to come up with to the African American audience who's current housstyle is defensive/slick. Not very ego stroking, so useless to come up with a "Murrican Style" kinda thing, and we know that audience is very dismissive of foreign fighters as well.

 

So Golovkin should try to appeal to African Americans and make everyone else hate him?

what kind of dumb question is this even? did you forget how floyd has tried to cather to the MExican audience for his entire career? Even making a clown of himself wearing Mexican flags and sombreros?

Also there's that small detail about Golovkin fighting truly more Mexican-styled than many other native Mexicans. He even looks like one. And has an hyspanic trainer.
