GGG's Punchstats were Padded

CompuBox stats never match with post fight video analysis.

 

This is the internet, sure, but being respectful and decent is still important. In fact, you yourself talked about how you had "integrity" earlier in this thread.

But I won't insist on an apology, everyone can see that I was right if they read this thread. All my friends on such as @CST80 @drenlou @rorschach51 @UnleashtheFURY @Pimp C @Bustajay @nellybc @Boxingfan200 @DoubleJab666 etc. know that I post honestly even when they completely disagree with me, and that's good enough for me. I was just giving you the chance to do the decent thing, it's really up to you and I don't care.

 

Yes, it's worth exactly as much as the opinion of any random guy who watched the fight, because that's all it is lol.

Just two guys sitting there with buttons and making split-second guesses as to who landed what.

Nothing to do with who won the fight or not, but you always gotta take punch stats with a grain of salt. It's too easily prone to [human] error and subjective interpretation.

Kiwi is a quality poster Even if I don't agree with him, his arguments always have logic and a rational basis to them.

 

Golovkin's punch stats were not padded! Are you kidding? Alvarez was the house fighter, he was owned by Oscar who owned the judges, referee, boxing commission, etc., if the officials were for Golovkin, then why did they pay Byrd to give El Pollo 10 rounds out of 12? This fight was corrupt, but corrupt in favor of Alvarez.

 

Then how did he end up with 18 punches landed in round 5 when the on-screen stats had him with only 9 punches landed with 15 seconds left in the round?

 

Then how do you explain why you scored the fight 10 rounds to 2 for El Pollo? Golovkin won the fight, over 90% online have made that clear, most of the boxers have made that clear, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3....................I had it 8 rounds to 4, but could see it 9 rounds to 3, perhaps the feathers flew off El Pollo so much it hid some of the punches. Golovkin said he would fight Mexican style, El Pollo said he would fight Mexican style, toe to toe, but he changed his mind for some reason...................hope in the rematch that Golovkin will throw body punches and finish Alvarez, the house fighter off................
