This whole triangle theory turns on itself, lol. If you're a Golovkin fan, you're saying GGG gets massive credit for beating the amazing Jacobs. Now you're saying Jacobs beats a Derevyanchenko who showed he was truly an elite tonight, so wow that win of GGG's over Jacobs is even more awesome. But... Derevyancheko was the guy GGG ran from to chase Canelo!

This has nothing to do with Golovkin. For all you know, the Ukrainian would beat Golovkin.

Well. Jacobs and Derevyanchenkos stock went up last night, it.helps.Golovkin if Jacobs carves out an excellent career for himself but I dunno how. Much it raises GGGs stock.

He's already highly ranked and credited as the top middleweight, very few think Canelo won, his legacy lives in a third fight now.

I had GGG-Jacobs a draw going into the last minute, which GGG probably just shaded. So a super close fight imo. And now the one GGG had such a close fight with had a pretty close fight with someone with just a little over 10 pro fights. So, no, I don't see this doing much for GGG:s legacy.

I always think it's stupid when somebody says somebody who beat somebody's stock rises after that somebody wins a hotly disputed decision. That to me is like a fan's version of being a crappy judge. Like ohh somebody got a decision. GGG's stock didn't rise at all, Jacobs got the decision but he didn't look that good tonight. You can make the argument that Derevyanchenko beat Jacobs to the extent that GGG beat him.

No one's stock who wasn't in the ring can rise. Even if you didn't think he won, Derevyanchenko's stock rose because he rose to the occasion and boxed about even with an established elite in Jacobs.

Exactly, clearly if anyone's stock rose tonight it was Derevyanchenko, more than GGG's or Jacobs's stock rose by a mile.

Guys this all such BS. Nobody's stock went up more than Jacob's stock.

Hes the one who won the damn fight.

GGG's stock did the opposite of rise. He just moved to number 3 in the division.

Or maybe GGG just lost and Jacobs just beat the guy who GGG dropped a title in order to avoid.

Well he vacated and seemed to swerve away from Derev and a fair bit of boxers and trainers out there scored his fight with Jacobs to Jacobs, so I imagine both these guys are two that Golovkin would rather not cite in relation to his career.

Maybe you're full of shit? Golovkin beat Canelo 2x, Jacobs and would wreck Derevyanchenko.

He's the #1 MW, and probably the #1 boxer on the planet despite being years past prime.
