Ever since Rocchigianni beat the WBC in court in 2002, the WBC title has become a farce.

Overrated and protected bums beating other road sweepers.

All the WBC holders since then shouldn't be counted as champions.

 

By replacing Mando's who had to bail from injury? Besides, He beat Soliman who held the IBF belt after beating Sturm. Obviously if you beat a guy who held a belt very recently then you're going to get ranked decently by that organization.

 

IIRC, Johnson beat O'Kane to become mandatory. Pretty dreadful rankings they have. Wade was high rated, no doubt. Only problem is that he didn't really beat Soliman. It would've been Soliman had he not been robbed.

Soliman would've been a better match-up than Wade for sure.
