Are you serious? His legs didn't even wobble slightly, he just got knocked back.

Also isn't Hendrix a cruiser? And he says it was a body shot doesn't he? So the chin is irrelevant

Scratch that, he is LHW not Cruiser. Was a pound short of it for a few fights though!

I watched, and rescored, the Monroe fight yesterday, Golovkin never lost a round after the opener which was close, he was in total control. Willing to trade with Monroe because Monroe's punches weren't doing anything. Golovkin was actually catching most of Monroe's punches on his gloves.

It was very different from how it looked on the night. Same for the Rosado fight, Golovkin never lost a round.

Golovkin wasn't tired in the second round at all, that was a 10-7 round. You say he had a hard time cutting the ring off against Murray who isn't a boxer. Well Monroe is a boxer, and he had an easy time cutting off the ring on him.

I advise you to go back and watch it.

Golovkin would easily wreck Erislandy Lara, the plodding Alvarez was getting to him, the plodding Angulo dropped him twice.

Some people have this fantasy that a slick boxer-mover beats Golovkin, but there's no evidence to support it.

Murray was dropped 3 times and stopped.

With all due respect to Miguel Cotto, I don't see him doing that unless he drains Murray.

Murray is a big MW, he can take a punch.

Hmm if Mayweather could withstand Cotto's punches, then Golovkin can't knock out Floyd.

Mayweather was putting a beating on Cotto in the 12th, hurting him...since Golovkin has a bad chin and a weaker puncher than Cotto....then Mayweather knocks out Golovkin. It all makes sense! Everyone, I've figured it out.

Boxed Ears, you have enlightened me. I can't thank you enough. I was blind, now I can see.

He drained Geale, and refused to fight at 160lbs as MW champion. He's not stopping a big guy like Murray, who incidentally has moved to SMW.

You don't need to tell me about Khomitsky's power, he almost killed Adam Etches in his last fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oUzOHnwqcs

The guy can punch, and Murray can take a punch, he had never been stopped and had only been down once prior.

lol what does Golovkin's age have to do with it?

You think Cotto hits harder okay, do you think Martinez goes 9 rounds with Golovkin? Do you think Delvin Rodriguez goes 3 rounds with Golovkin?

He's not my boy, but that Martinez that fought Cotto does not go 9 rounds with Golovkin and Delvin doesn't go 3. Golovkin hits harder, no question.

Amari was in 2008, it's 7 years ago. Golovkin had only been pro boxer for a year. Who is to say he was even going for the KO, it's quite possible he was looking to put rounds in the bank.

Golovkin would murder Delvin, he'd be fortunate to see the end of round 1.

Golovkin is not avoiding anyone, he is Cotto's mandatory, Cotto is paying Golovkin step aside money so he can fight Alvarez instead. Golovkin will be the mandatory to fight the winner. Golovkin has been trying to get fights with Cotto, tried to fight Martinez, Lee, Quillin, all the best 160 lb. fighters, all they have to do is sign, but Cotto and Alvarez will have to be forced to fight Golovkin for the 160 lb. title.....................bet Cotto or Alvarez will drop their title before they fight Golovkin. 350 amateur fights, lost only 5, he is awesome.................Golovkin fought Geale when Geale was 160 lbs., Cotto made Geale come down to 157, when fighting for the 160 lb. title it should be for the 160 lb. title..................

Rosado got stopped. He has also gone rounds with Lemieux and Quillin so obviously his punch resistance at 160 is pretty good.

What I'm saying is he's not my favorite fighter or anything like that. All the threads on here seem to be about him.
