Jesus put him on earth to humble floyd mayweather! :nono * well thats what he said in HBO's 24-7 / showtime all access *
Its a fight I think he could win, it wouldn't be easy. Thurman hits hard but is there to hit. I don't think ghost has the power to hurt thurman but he could turn it into a ugly malling type fight things would go to his favor. I'm sure he doesn't want to be a stepping stone for a young up and coming thurman who looks like he's going to be an elite guy. I would favor thurman to just out box him and make easy work of ghost. To me its a 60/40 type fight for Thurman, but ghosts needs a guy like thurman to get his name back up there.
To be honest I think the ghost is afraid of Thurman power and aggressiveness. Thurman is a young upstart who is hungry for stardom.
You damn right he's scared of Thurman. Thurman hits hard, and has shown that he has the determination to weather the storm like he did in his last fight. The ghost isn't ready to be the one on the run for 12 Rounds. I would like to hear what his *****-ass father would say once Thurman has him stretched out on the canvas.
Boxing is a business after all and my guess Team Guerrero is perhaps waiting for a bigger name opponent that will bring a much bigger paycheck. Thurman right now is making huge noise and I don't blame any fighter that has work hard to get to a certain level in boxing to think twice to face someone like Thurman.
Ortiz would expose this hypejob for what he really is.Paulie been said it this guy is nothing special.
Paulie has a strong will and above average skills and an excellent chin. Match that with the power of an adolescent boy and what you get is a guy whos only good for talking from the sidelines and beating euro bums
thats the last million dollar check he will ever sniff hes lucky to get 300 grand and a world title shot coming off a loss.....cant believe how utterly ***** like fighters are today to turn down a title shot and that kind of money
