Though not an ATG or ever the true ruler of his division, he came back from devastating defeats to Lloyd Honeyghan and Donald Curry, to put together a nice run as a junior middleweight belt-holder. He retired with a very respectable 62-6-1 record. What are your thoughts on good, ol' Gianfranco?

And he came back at near 50!

I did this same thread a long time ago. Await the crickets.

I used to get Rosi and Juan Coggi confused a bit. Both were respectable fighters, but, far from ATG material. Back when they were actively fighting I viewed both as alphabet champions based on the fact that neither ever tried to unify the belts, and neither was ever truly the best in their division. That being said, they would probably both be multiple belt titlists in today's watered down field.

When Lloyd smashed rosi I didn't think him and Mickey duff were going to get out alive the crowd was not chuffed.Gianfranco did well to come back from that and have a decent career I think he beat Chris pyhatt? Which is a decent win.
