''Returning from Paris to Bucharest by train, he caught a cold and his manager suggested that before going home to Mârşani, he should remain in Bucharest for a few days to get better, but his condition got so bad that he was taken to Filantropia Hospital, where he eventually died of tuberculosis in 1936''
It also says on wiki: The only losses in his fighting career were against the former Italian world champion Primo Carnera and the American boxer George Godfrey. Hmmm, can't seem to find anything about the Carnera bout? It says it was scheduled but never took place somewhere else!
Joe Louis was probably the perfect size heavyweight. These days he would weigh more but he beat every size heavyweight. Joe handled the big guys better than the shorter guys but Joe was a giant killer. He would have his momentary threats against Lennox Lewis and the Klitschko but I see all these fights ending in KO and in the Brown Bombers favor
Cully was another big guy: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...s?q=jim+cully&hl=en&safe=off&gbv=2&tbs=isch:1 He didn't get too far either.
