Nah, I don´t think so but he definitly is too good of a mw to be beaten by Duran. Clear win vor Joey. 9 rounds to 6 or 10 rounds to 5.

It will take something special for Duran to do this one, i'll take Giardello, provided he is on song.

If Joey comes in well trained he wins this, he`s just too big and strong for Roberto in close quarters exchanges and he`s got the legs and reach to trouble Roberto from long range. At this weight Duran can`t cut the ring off as effectively as he did at 135/147, and he will be hard pressed to beat the version of Joey who outfoxed Dick Tiger to lift the middleweight crown... that Giardello Duran never beats.

Joey Giardello wins an easy 15 round decision. That's right, easy. Joey was a smart, wily boxing wizard who would frustrate Roberto all night long.
