Watched Lomachenko against Marriaga the other day, he threw a lot of light punches to distract and confuse his opponent. Pep used head movement,shoulder feints, and those gifted feet.

 

Met and talked to Pep years ago...a big thrill & a nice man!!

 

He looks just like Mayweather there. Plenty of posters around here would argue Pep and others from back then couldn't compete in today's era

No they wouldn't. Peps skills are readily apparent to even the most skeptical viewers. Folks around here are more likely to argue that Mayweather would have been an ordinary talent in the past.
