Most underrated jab of any heavy. It's not that he was a slick boxer or anything, but when he hit a guy with that jab, it was a real punch that hurt and checked guys. You could see how heavy it was, like another fighter's right hand. Wow, Pleasanton. Real nice spot these days. Must have been all farms back then.
With this quality video you see that physical monster that he was at 17. What an animal.thanks for this rare video. Foreman said that at young age he did try to emulate the style of Clay it is why these atypical movements from him
No worries, I didn't take it that way. Just providing more information to address your concern. The camera is to his back, and the quality is really good for 60's footage.
Maybe you are more familiar with his body than I am?lol Seriously he is young there and that is probably what threw me.
People like to claim how overrated Foreman is, but seriously their is not much bad you can say about him. He held a major presence in the sport of boxing over 3 decades. "He's overrated until you have to step in the ring with him."
You'd think for someone who claims to have watched boxing for the last 50+ years he'd be able to recognize Foreman from that angle by know.
I gotta admit i didnt recognize him either. He rarely/never moved like that in his fighta. I actually thought it might be ali himself for a second because of the position of his right hand while he was jabbing as embarassing as it sounds
