    I honestly think that is speeded up ,and would point out that it is,[depending whether it is their first or second fight,] 2 or 3 years before he came back to fight Charles.

    I think if the speed was perfect, it would look even more impressive since it would look natural.

    I posted this to showcase Joe Louis impressive abilities as a fighter, not to reignite some argument point between you and I from another thread. Just to be clear of my intention.

    It's not speeded up...look at the ref moving around the ring...normal speed....

    All old footage is speeded up ,it had less frames per second back then recorded on film reels so it skips frames even more its like video games the more frames the system can move the smoother it looks .

    Playback machines back in the day were run at 18fps, so cameras shot at 18fps. However there are also a lot of slow motion shots which were probably shot at 200fps. And some people have speed corrected some old footage.

    Dempsey and Louis were the greatest punchers ever...dangerous anytime or distance....dempsey from any position and any area Louis with speed and combos...thanks again

    Look all you have to do is compare the two pieces of footage,if you can't spot the difference then I don't know what to tell you.
