I believe you made this thread to address Marciano's perceived lack of speed.Sorry .he had slow feet ,and average hand speed.
He wasn't slow, but awkward and unorthodox, and small even for HWs of that era. His size would hold him back against many great (and not so great) heavyweights in history, but he'd do fine at cruiserzweight
The farther in time we progress, the less slow Rocky will look. He was called slow in a time where he was being compared to Louis and Ali, the two best ever. Simpler times...
