This is at the very end of the 4th or so round of sparring.
    Notice Tyson isn't wearing headgear.

The combination of speed and power in his combos are ridiculous.

Impressive for his time but way too small for today's era, they would only tickle today's giants.

Prime Tyson would be champion today and would have owned the division with a reign of terror. He would have killed Deontay whatshisname for one thing....and would have made short work of all those other no-name stiffs like AJ. They would have had a real time trying to wake up Fury afterwards.

I'm no huge Tyson fan but his skill level far outpaces all of today's hwts. The fad the past decade is size which has replaced skill. Unfortunately boxing is a skill sport.

His skill level is probably better but he's massively smaller, size negates that skill advantage.

To think, out of a 20 year career, he spent about 2 at his absolute peak, with the rest just a downward spiral into chaos.

    Bruno was better than Joshua.

Let that sink in for those who think Joshua would beat Tyson.

Some of those giants of today dont necessarily have better chins. fury got dropped by a cruiser, wilder has no chin and is under 230, wlad doesnt have a great chin either. I agree that 6'7 250 heavyweights would be alot more difficult for tyson but he still did well against some big guys like golota, tucker, ruddock and bruno obviously lewis beat him up but lewis wasnt just bigger he was also better at the time

I rarely accept as "truth" the opinion of someone as misguided and ignorant as you, Wass. You are truly one of the worst posters on the classic forum. I hate to get personal. But, since I don't know where you live so that I can beat some sense into you, I recommend from now on you add polls to all of your opinions. I will be shocked if your opinion is ever in the majority on any boxing issue.
