It's about basic respect, accuracy, and knowing my place. And I try not to be glib. A fanboy shows blind devotion. I use arguments and primary sources to explain my views. And I don't do it at a surface level, I'm willing to go back and forth to the tiniest detail. Often it's responding to one of you guys making a short passive aggressive quip, and moving on to the next thing. The real cringe stems from fans who mask their fandom with hate. A lack of respect and reverence shows a lack of love for the game. And if that's the case, I really have to wonder why one would be here.
The simple truth is that you are a low level critic. That is all you are in the world of boxing. You don't have producible views. You can hardly get a few likes from the crabs in the bucket of the forum. Embrace that.
I repeat I don't have posters, and the only photos I have of Marciano is of him koing Louis and sticking his elbow into Joe's face. The bottom line is you posted a couple of clips and accompanied them with opinions that no one agrees with, disappointing for you perhaps ,but hardly the end of the world.Ive been wrong here many times and had to publicly eat crow ,no doubt it will happen again.I'll survive and so will you. Now that's enough focus on me although , as the foremost universal expert on pugilistica ,I'm aware I am more than worthy of all this attention, but I think we might move on now? Others here are not as enthralled ,intruiged, fascinated, and absorbed in me as you appear to be.
I don't know about that, he prolly hits harder than Both and I'd wager he hits Harder than Fury, Whyte or Miller.
Where is that listing of the levels of boxing critics and those that inhabit each stratum? I lost the copy I used to keep in my wallet.
This is the hard, honest truth, and like a lot of truth it's hard for the subject to deal with. Quite telling that he's responded in child-like fashion, but not really that unexpected.
