He's stumbling forward like a wounded hippo. If this gets your boxing pants tight, so be it. Speaks more of you than it does of the old guy from Fruili.

And either Klitschko (I know, you think that both are the same) demonstrated more dynamic, athletic footwork that this manufactured champ.

What does this mean. That you think he actually slipped/stumbled forward?
If that's the case, you are delusional.

SHWs will always look clumsier than their 160lb counterparts.
    That's the point.

Did Primo manufacture that ass whooping on Loughran and Uzcudun?

    Is this manufactured?

    Get a clue.

Maybe somewhere along the line you forgot that Primo was a real person, who risked his life by fighting world class boxers at the top level. He should've been the one getting knocked out in round 1 versus contenders, not Dempsey. And yet, hmm...

You seem to find a new Rosetta Stone of ability with every piece of footage where some slightly above mediocre athletic specimen pummels a hopeless sparring partner and tomato can.

Again, if that makes you happy, have at it. Just don't try to convince this bright, young man of what it is you're selling.

I was taught you keep one foot in front of the other AT ALL TIMES, that's boxing fundamentals. This "shifting" malarkey is just foolishness unless you happen to be some sort of fighting phenomenon or a proven ambidextrous fighter.

I also thought "Pirog" was a character from Capcom's classic Streetfighter II arcade video game, so I'm not infallible by any means.

You're just desensitizing the footage when it's about a fighter you don't think is good.
Reality is that he beat the crap out of that guy with a vicious, powerful combo by imposing his size, strength, and will onto him. Another reality check is that Primo Carnera was the worlds Heavyweight champion, and defended his title twice.

The only snake oil being sold here is this crap that Primo wasn't a legit world class fighter that you've been pushing.
Gallico would be most pleased to see he still has acolytes carrying out his scam.

It's similar to being taught to keep your hands up at all times, even though not everybody does all the time.
Shifting is a legit move, whether you want to call it shifting or something else. And you don't have to be a top 20 fighter to do it.

Wow. That's a very emotional and "real" defense of Carnera. I'm sure someone from your generation will give you points for that sloppy line of argumentation.

Actually, I think we both agree. He was able to beat the sh*t out of a ham and egger. I never said he couldn't do that. If you want to extrapolate that achievement into anything more, go ahead. This board is always wanting for entertainment.

Plenty of undistinguished heavyweights beat the crap out of Reggie Meen. The man had 42 losses, 22 by stoppage.

It wasn't meant to be emotional or "real" but I guess it must've struck a chord.
How come the ham and egger couldn't beat the phony manufactured fraud using the learned arts of boxing?

You wouldn't equivocate Ali to the 34 guys that beat Willie Besmanoff based off footage of their fight, would you?
