I thought you were against strawman arguments.
    I must've been mistaken.

You've embarrassed yourself here more than once in the last week and if you somehow could've shown Eddie futch Angelo Dundee or emmanuel steward the tapes of Carnera and told them he could beat Bowe you would've been laughed out of the building

    Alright.
    I've embarrassed myself?
Look, I was trying to be nice to you.
But you **** on legends of the game.
And you are an embarrassment at boxing.
And look like an idiot trying to string together a few straight punches, with zero form or balance.
You load up on your jab excessively for christs sake.
And have the nerve to come on a platform like this, to try to discredit Rocky's boxing ability, by hiding behind some bull**** facade that you know **** about boxing.

    You're stupid.
    You're manipulating the readers here.
You have little to no credibility, and add nothing but ad nauseam and junk opinions.

    That's how I really feel.

Don't you see the problem with criticizing my form? Either you can tell someone's flaws in technique or form by the footage or not... What about the "elite haymakers"

You're saying I can't judge form properly, because I am criticizing yours, and you have great form?

    I can't...

No....I'm saying that you can't judge form properly or at the very least have double standards concerning form when you praise other fighters for things that are technically "incorrect form" or fail to accept that a Carnera for example does things that are very wrong from a technical perspective. Yet you criticize my form, even if it is absolute ****, Carnera does things that look really really bad. The funny thing is if I was some ex champion from the 50s you would be interpreting a bunch of great things into my form

Is an 'elite haymaker' not a bit of an oxymoron? I always thought, and I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong (or even if I'm not), that a haymaker was a term for a punch rather than a punch itself such as a jab, a cross, a hook or an uppercut, and that it described a punch which relied more on brute force than technique. While they can be undeniably devastating, haymakers aren't actually a technique, I wouldn't have thought. Would a trainer say 'Come here and let me show you how to throw the haymaker.'?

    Agree!
Reznick came up with that term not me. There are no elite haymakers. Only people gifted enough to get away with them against certain opposition

Valuev's video by Boxed Ears was way more impressive.

The idea is that Carnera is always presented as a big oaf without skill. It's considered a "given" by everyone including myself. However a critical look see shows this "given" to be untrue. Carnera was far better technically than given credit for.

What is all the hype about on this thread? That clip made Cobb look worse than he really was.

Here's your problem, you don't have a clue about what correct form is.

    Listen to you.

"How can you call my form bad, when you say Carnera's is good?"
    Are you ****ing kidding me?
You are this pompous, and think you are technically better than the 6"5 270lb Mountain Man Heavyweight Primo Carnera?

    Haha, okay slugger!

You don't understand what I'm telling you. I'm saying that if you had never heard if Carnera before and someone sent you a 20 second clip of him working the bag and you were told this was from some guy on instagram with a black/white filter you would probable not be impressed by Carnera. You definitely wouldn't guess he was a HW champion

Nothing you said here happens in the clips.

    I saw no double jab
the Norton counter appears to land from the camera angle
Cobb throws a combo, nothing lands though
Cobb does land a touching jab that backs Norton up
I'm not sure that 1-2 lands, the jab certainly misses Norton's head and the right appears to be short
I didn't see much punch variety.
